Many people aren’t very familiar with fishing. Some others have won awards for being experts on fishing. It doesn’t matter your level of skill, there’s always more you can learn about fishing. Slice off the head, and as you pull in the opposite direction, the internal organs will come out easily. The result should be an open, clean fish.
Properly Threaded
If worms are your bait of choice, you should take care to ensure that each one is properly threaded on your fishhook. When your bait is properly threaded, fish can recognize the worm shape and are more likely to bite. You should also use as small of a hook as you can.
You do not have to keep every single fish you catch. It is proper to release fish that are just a little bit too small or when you have already had an exceptionally good fishing day. It helps ensure that fish will continue to survive and stay in the area if you limit how many fish you remove from the water.
